3D MODELLING TECHNIQUES

This one day online session is aimed at designers that have some experience with Vectorworks, at a minimum you will have attended a foundation course or completed the ‘Associate Certification’ on the Vectorworks University. This session will be focused on developing various modelling techniques for creating custom products within projects.Outline:
Controlling the Views
Simple 3D Objects
Deform 3D Shapes
Symbols
Custom working planes
Nurbs
Subdivision (organic modelling)
Sheets: DPI and Annotations
Renderworks Camera
Render styles : Sketch & Whitecard
Note: Please use Vectorworks 2023 or 2022 for this session. If you do not have access to these, please reach out for a trial license so you can attend the session and explore any new tools.

Vectorworks University offers further training that is free to use and offers training for beginners through to experts. It tracks your progress through courses and consists of a blend of video and text-based materials.

The course is limited to 8 places which will be allocated on a first come first served basis and must be paid for in advance. Your place is only confirmed once payment has been made. Cancellation with less than 3 days notice will incur a full charge.
