Vectorworks Online Training Session

- for those starting out and those wanting a refresher (this event is subsidised by the BFDG)

This training session is directed to BFDG members with interest of learning the basics of Vectorworks, covering the general interface of Vectorworks to the process of getting the job exported. This is ideally aimed for novices at Vectorworks or basic users but please do feel free to come for a refresher if you are more of an advanced user. The training will take place online via Zoom.

  • Importing Images/PDF/Symbols
  • Resource Manager
  • Push & Pull - Basic 3D modelling 
  • Advanced tool [Parametric tools] 
  • Creating a Basic Symbol

  • Title Blocks & Revision

  • Text Styles
  • Callout
  • Dimensions
  • Print/export/publish 

Criteria for Delegates:  Can be both those starting out and those wanting a refresher - please indicate on the registration form.  Only active BFDG members can apply for this course.

The training will be showcasing Vectorworks 2020. If you don't have that version trial licenses will provided for the session. All you need is a lap top either a Mac or PC. The training will take place online via Zoom, candidates need to download the latest version in advance.

The course is limited to 10 places which will be allocated on a first come first served basis and must be paid for in advance. Your place is only confirmed once payment has been made. Cancellation with less than 3 days notice will incur a full charge.
